This web site is dedicated to the memory of all Wyman's descended from Francis Wymant of Westmill, Hertfordshire, England and his brother and 2 sons John and Francis who braved untold odds to emmigrate to the New World in the 1630's. John and Francis were 2 of the founders of Woburn, Massachusetts.

Black Wyman's
Black man with name of Wyman buried in Wilder, Vermont.
I wonder if you have heard of the black man with the surname Wyman is who buried in Wilder, Vt.? I inquired with the historian in the area and she knew nothing about him. I stumbled upon the gravestone years ago. It stands by itself on a bank high above the Connecticut River across from Hanover and within the area now (and for some years presumably) occuppied by funky little collection of summer houses that are part of a Baptist enclave.
